Andrew Kennedy DDS was raised in Brigham City Utah. After serving a 2 year mission for the LDS church in Buenos Aires Argentina, he graduated with a degree in Exercise Science from BYU Provo. He then decided to explore the east coast, moving to Long Island New York to receive his DDS at Stony Brook University. After a long spell of not being surrounded by mountains he is thrilled be back in Utah, and able to practice dentistry in Wayne County. Andrew has a passion for the field of dentistry and is eager to continually develop his skills and abilities with state of the art dental care.
Jay Stilson DMD is a general dentist with a practice Castle Dale, UT, where he lives with his wife and 4 children. He has worked at WCHC since 2009 and recently transitioned from two days a week to one day a week there. Dr Stilson graduated from Weber State University in 2003 with a zoology major and minor in chemistry before attending dental school. He attended the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH and graduated in 2007.
Tyler Albrecht DMD is a pediatric dentist who travels from Cedar City to WCHC 3 to 4 times a year. Dr. Albrecht lives in Cedar City with his wife Laura and their four children, Stockton, Easton, Riley Jean and Kenley Laura. Dr. Albrecht grew up in Orem, Utah, although most of his family resides here in Southern Utah.
After serving an LDS mission to Germany, he graduated from BYU and then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 2005. At graduation, he was awarded “Most Outstanding Clinician” and “Best Dentist to Work with Kids” in his dental class. After dental school he completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo in New York. He is one of only twenty-eight board certified pediatric dentists in the state of Utah.
As a pediatric dentist, he is able to provide comprehensive dental treatment for all children, including in office sedation and hospital dentistry. He started Cedar View Pediatric Dentistry in the summer of 2007 after he saw a need for a pediatric dentist here in Cedar City.
Christopher Harward DDS was born and raised in Orem Utah. Upon finishing his Bachelors of Science at UVU, he relocated his family to Omaha NE where he earned his DDS at Creighton University School of Dentistry. He is married and has 3 wonderful children. He is actively involved with mentoring young men in scouting. His role in scouting is to work with the boys in earning merit badges through self-esteem building activities. Dr. Harward is committed to providing comprehensive patient education and quality dental health care. His goal is to treat patients as if they were family, and help them to make important decisions about their oral health. Dr. Harward believes that dentistry is a continually evolving profession. He keeps up to date with new aged dentistry and provides quality service for his patients. Dr. Harward actively attends continuing education courses and am motivated to further his dental education.
Pat Kearney RDH was recruited to Utah to work as a dental hygienist in 1971 when the Office of Economic Opportunity opened the first Neighborhood Health Center in Utah in SLC. After completing my contract, moving back East to work in Boston’s NHC’s, She applied to U of U and came back as a student and State Health Dept. employee. She ended up in Ferron, Utah after graduation with a river runner/farmer/U grad, and eventually migrated to Wayne Co. in 1977. After 20 years on the WCHC board, and thence retirement, she became a part time employee.
Pearl Thorndal-Stewart RDH has been working with the dental clinic since it started. She went to school for dental hygiene at Owens Community College in Ohio. Move to Utah in 1999 and worked in Richfield and Wayne County. She moved to Torrey in 2002, and is excited about the growth of the dental clinic here. She has a great passion for her work, hoping to help everyone improve their general heath through better oral hygiene.
Randall Kelley DMD graduated from Washington University in 1984, who travels from Salt Lake City. Dr. Kelley specializes in implants, wisdom teeth, difficult extractions, and endodontics.
